One of the leading problems in world is related to amount waste generated by various humanactivities. Due extremely negative impact on environment and accompanying effects aglobal local level, a systematic approach has been taken cope with this problem. In accordance theAgenda 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 14, it necessary tosignificantly reduce production through activities prevention, reduction, recycling andreusing (UN A/RES/ 70/1, 2015).Depending population lifestyle type industry which generated, andcomposition certain area are very different, therefore way dealing also differs. Thefurniture produces significant amounts waste, non-hazardous generally handled inaccordance principles circular economy, while at same time, hazardous must be adequatelydisposed appropriate operators.The paper presents model management furniture factory "Simpo" a.d., Vranje, Serbia as anexample compliance legal regulations aim reducing impactson environment. mentioned factory, largest share total 2020 2021 hashazardous namely sludge (69% 81% 2021).
